Measurement Tips
If you do not feel confident taking your own measurements, we suggest having them taken by a professional. Always take measurements over undergarments, not clothing. Also, we recommend wearing shoes with the same height heel as you will be wearing on your wedding day when measuring for hollow to hem.
All of our dresses are made according to the size or measurements you provide, therefore, we are not responsible for inaccurate measurements. Custom sized dresses are non-refundable or exchangeable. Please see our policies page.
Bridal wear usually runs 1-2 sizes up from normal street wear. Be sure to order your dress according to your largest measurement. For example, if your bust is 36 inches (size 10) and your waist is 26.5 inches (size 8), you would want to order the size 10. It is much easier to take a dress in than let it out.
Keep in mind that even if a gown is custom made for you there may be further alterations required for that perfect fit. For that reason we recommend that you order your gown 6-8 months prior to your wedding date.

How to measure
Bust: Not your bra size! Take the tape measure around your back and bring it across the fullest part of your bust. Your arms should be relaxed, down at your sides. You must wear a bra when taking this measurement.
Waist: This is the smallest part of your waist. Typically it's an inch or so above your belly button. Also known as the natural waistline.
Hips: This is the widest part of your hips, across the hipbone. Measurement is taken approximately 7 inches below the natural waistline. This measurement is not needed for full gowns.
Hollow to Hem: Start at the hollow at the base of your neck and measure down to where you want the hem. Also, be sure you are wearing the same height heel as you will be wearing on your wedding day.
Bust Points: This is the length between your nipples.
Arm Girth: Relax your arm and measure around the largest part of the upper arm.
Arm Length: Start the tape at you shoulder and measure down to your hand.
Around Shoulder: This is the measurement around your shoulder.
Nape to Waist: Measure from the base of the neck at the back to the natural waistline.
Waist to Hem: Measure from your natural waistline to where you want the hem to be. Be sure you are wearing the same height heel you'll be wearing on your wedding date.
